Enhancing Interpreting Services: Challenges and Best Practices
Overview:
The Webinar looks at some common problems in interpreting service delivery, and their consequences for the clients, for All Graduates and for interpreters themselves. The issues include no shows, late arrivals or early departures, and issues specific to telephone interpreting and video conferencing. While in some cases interpreters who fall short in these areas are uncertified or from small language groups, in fact we find even otherwise well credentialed interpreters sometimes exhibit shortcomings in providing optimal service. All Graduates is committed to helping interpreters give the best possible professional service to their many clients, by working on improving booking, reminders and follow-up services, and the webinar will outline these initiatives and how professional service delivery is best achieved.
