Informed Consent (T&I in Healthcare Settings)

In this short course, you will learn what Informed Consent is, why it is important and what it should include. You will also learn what information needs to be provided in order to ensure that patients or their families/caregivers are fully informed and able to consent. We will look at situations where patients are not able to consent and what happens then as well as the interpreter's role, challenges and how to address some of the challenges.
